Venkat Thumma

Venkat Thumma brings a diverse international legal background to PSBP Law, with experience spanning corporate law, civil litigation, and U.S. immigration law. As an Attorney with the firm’s Immigration Practice Group, he focuses on EB-5 immigrant investor matters and employment-based immigration, helping clients navigate complex immigration processes with diligence, precision, and a client-focused approach.

Venkat began his legal career in India, where he practiced as an Associate Attorney handling general corporate matters and civil litigation. He is a licensed Advocate at the High Court for the State of Telangana, India. Following his admission to the State Bar of Wisconsin, Venkat is also licensed to practice law in the United States, further strengthening his ability to serve clients with cross-border legal needs.

He earned his LL.M. in American Law, with a concentration in International Business Practice, from Boston University School of Law. Prior to that, he completed his integrated B.A., LL.B. at NALSAR University of Law and Osmania University, two of India’s premier law schools. Before joining PSBP Law, Venkat gained valuable experience working on a broad range of employment-based immigration matters, expanding his knowledge of U.S. immigration law and business immigration processes.

At PSBP Law, Venkat works closely with the firm’s EB-5 practice, conducting comprehensive source of funds analyses, preparing immigration petitions, performing due diligence, and guiding investors and their families through each stage of the EB-5 process. His experience in both international and U.S. legal systems allows him to provide practical, strategic solutions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

Fluent in English, Hindi, and Telugu, Venkat effectively communicates with clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
