Connect

The QuickBooks Connector is an internal application. Authorization is performed by an authorized representative of PSBP Law from the firm workstation on which the application runs.

To authorize a company

  1. Start the application on the firm workstation.
  2. Open the application’s local console and select the company to connect.
  3. Sign in to Intuit and select the corresponding QuickBooks Online company.
  4. Approve the requested accounting permission.

Each company is authorized separately. The application keeps a distinct authorization for each entity and cannot act across entities.

Reconnecting

Authorization must be renewed if it is revoked in QuickBooks Online, or if the application has been unused long enough for its refresh token to expire. The procedure is identical to the initial authorization above.
