Disconnect

Authorization for the QuickBooks Connector may be revoked at any time, by either method below. Revoking access takes effect immediately.

From QuickBooks Online

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as an administrator.
  2. Go to Settings → Apps.
  3. Locate the PSBP Law QuickBooks Connector and select Disconnect.

From the application

  1. Start the application on the firm workstation.
  2. Select the company and choose to disconnect.

Disconnecting from within the application revokes the token with Intuit and deletes the stored credentials from the workstation. Disconnecting from QuickBooks Online revokes access at Intuit; the stored local credentials become invalid and should also be removed from the workstation.

Effect of disconnecting

The application immediately loses all access to that company’s data. Checks already created in QuickBooks are unaffected and remain under the company’s control. The local audit record of previously created checks is retained by PSBP Law as a business record.
