Terms

These terms govern use of the PSBP Law QuickBooks Connector (the “Application”), software developed for and operated by PSBP Law, PLLC (“PSBP Law”).

1. Private, internal use

The Application is proprietary to PSBP Law and is licensed solely to PSBP Law and its authorized personnel, for use with QuickBooks Online companies that PSBP Law or its affiliated entities own or control. It is not sold, licensed, sublicensed, distributed, or made available to any third party, and it is not offered to the public.

2. Permitted use

Authorized personnel may use the Application only to prepare vendor checks for review, on entities for which authorization has been expressly granted. Any other use is prohibited, including use on behalf of a client or any third party.

3. Human review required

The Application prepares checks in an unprinted state. It does not issue, transmit, or settle any payment, and it does not mark any transaction paid or cleared. Every payment prepared by the Application requires review and approval by an authorized person before it has effect. Reliance on the Application does not relieve any person of the obligation to review a payment before issuing it.

4. Restrictions

  • No copying, modification, or reverse engineering except by PSBP Law.
  • No use to access any QuickBooks company not expressly authorized.
  • No use to access, disburse from, or record against any client trust, IOLTA, escrow, or tenant security deposit account.

5. Relationship to Intuit

The Application uses Intuit’s published APIs under the Intuit Developer Terms of Service. It is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or supported by Intuit Inc. QuickBooks is a trademark of Intuit Inc.

6. No warranty

The Application is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. PSBP Law does not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted or error free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PSBP Law shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the Application.

8. Not legal or accounting advice

The Application performs bookkeeping data entry. Nothing it produces constitutes legal, tax, or accounting advice, and its categorization of any expense is not a substitute for professional judgment.

9. Termination

PSBP Law may discontinue the Application or revoke any authorization at any time. Access terminates automatically when authorization is revoked in QuickBooks Online.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
